52 Photos Project - Chopped

This week at 52 Photos Project it's chopped. My first thought was "what the heck?!" And then I thought of all the possibilities. This week is going to be a good one. I'm looking forward to seeing all the contributions and interpretations.

Here's another one of our little buildings...one day it just might be my studio!

And another more expected one....

  1. Love the log cabin. Wouldn't that make the perfect place to just get away? Oh, and I love the smell of wood smoke, especially on clothing during the autumn.

    1. I love the smell of wood smoke too Shelley. We heat with wood so I get to enjoy it all winter long! :)

  4. Wow! I really love both pictures!! You are really good, Lynne. My favorite is the second one, though. Makes me think of fireplaces, warmth, crackling fire and country style, all of which I love.

    1. Thank you so much. I took the last one laying on the ground by the fire pit at our campsite last fall.

There is little that I love and enjoy more than a crackling fire...which is a good thing since we heat with wood only! ;)

  5. Very artistic little wood pile, but I LOVE the log cabin for this theme. How wonderful a studio that would be! Thanks for sharing that picture and dream with us.

My goal was to have a house with a fireplace or a wood stove, but I had to pick between that and having a garage, and with the hailstorms here, I chose the garage. Someday, I hope to put in at least a Franklin stove downstairs.

    1. I can see picking a garage under those circumstances too! But I do love our woodstoves :)

  7. I love both pictures, the dream of a different life for the log cabin and a fire to dream by.
Dreams are what the future is made of...
